    Well its finally here.

Pics ^^ Taken by Steve Dude Barr at vintage bass co. I havent taken pics of my own (with the pg plastic removed) yet, but I will when I get a free moment.

This is a beautiful bass. Definitely feels a little funny playing a brand new EBMM rather than my 9 years-young Sterling, with the neck from heaven.

Everything theyve said about these basses is true, they are great. Getting used to the 5 strings will take some time, its not territory i havent been to before, but it is the first time i plan on staying here.

B string sounds great :) Finish looks even more amazing in person.

EDIT: More pics on page 2

  2. Wow, its stunningly beautiful. I love the color!

Yup. Stil get that Sr5 tone in position 1, and man is it a great tone. I think 1 and 4 are my favorite positions.

Me too, but they all have a lot to offer.

Try 5 with a small treble cut and a small bass boost, mute with the palm and pluck with the thumb. Crazy thump.

  10. Wow, Figjam, I have to say, that is probably the best-looking SR5 I'ver ever seen! I usually don't like the way the pickgaurd looks, but that is just boss!

Figjam, I'll be joining you in June or July. Enjoy your bass, it is a great value, especially for what it costs.

I love a good blueburst. Great looking bass!

Any chance of hearding some soundclips? I haven't had the chance to play one of these yet, but I'm sure that they sound incredible.

Congrats!! How's your wallet feeling? :smug:

I didn't even notice the double buckers the first time I looked.

Is it bad that a double bucker looks normal to me?
