    Hey folks,
Like you, I just read a very positive review in Bass Player about the new Eden Traveler 550.

Has anyone purchased one out there yet?
Or perhaps you've tried one at a music store -- what are your impressions?
Does it sound like the Eden amps we know and love?

    Thanks for your input.

    Hey, I answered your questions, didn't I? ;)

I'm still in the early stages of learning how to use this head, but my initial impressions are favorable. I'm running the tone and EQ flat at the moment, and am just trying to find my legs.

I suck at putting tone into words, but yes - it sounds just like every other Eden I've messed with. David said the preamp was a little quieter, and I'll have to take his word for it.

    A sweet little head!

That IS a great set-up you have there. Are those 12's or 15's?

I'm starting to gas for a Traveler 550 and one of those new Epifani Ultralight 310's! YOW!!:bassist:

A pair of S15-Ds - the pic is a little distorted. Hey, it's dark down there!

A 3x10 does sound interesting... what do they weigh?

According to Epifani's website, only 49.5 pounds. And 750 watts!!

That is amazing! A 310 cab that only weighs 50 pounds and a head that only weighs about 10-15. man, my back would love me!!

I bought one last August. I then lost patience and ended up with a WT-800. Oh well.

I've had a WT550 for over a month and like it alot. I wrote a short review several weeks ago. Sound and power is good and the best thing is being able to throw the amp over your shoulder in a gig bag. It has the Eden sound and I'm running it almost flat on eq.

I saw the June BP and the review wasn't in there. Is it coming out in the July BP. What did BP say?

Sir?!?! What, are you trying to pick a fight by being insulting? :D

So, are you still in the market for a little head? A WT-800 is pretty big, as I recall. I'm quite impressed with the 550.
