    The P type is the old connect system and the J pickup is the long bridge position and uses the newer quick connect system (cable included, see pictures). They are both new and have the old EMG logo. These were used mainly by Fodera, Spector, Modulus, Warwick and other great basses in the 80’s and early 90’s; they sound killer !! Super modern .
