New F Bass BN5-F! new Model!

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by VinceLovesF, Aug 25, 2005.

  1. Here's an exclusivity, the new F Bass model, the BN5-F!
This is the Fretless model of the BN5.

It is similar to BNF5 except:
    BN shape
But with strings thru the body
    Metal bridge

    That one has:
Bubinga top, matching headstock and heel
    Lined ebony board
    Maple neck and ash body

Oh man... you would have to post this after I just picked up a fretless 5-er... any ideas on pricing? Did George give you the scoop?

I love the lined FB with the Position dots as well. Very sweet. I personally don't 'love' that Bubinga however. But another wood top like Adrian's Ebony and it would blow my mind.
  7. Yes!
The standard model, without Bubinga and matching headstock is 3999$...
without lines, matchng headstock and heel.....

  8. Just when I thought I had the whole fretless thing coverred, now this comes up. IMO, Bubinga for a top wood really is the perfect choice for fretless with an Ash body but with a Diamondwood FB. That fretless looks absolutely stunning!
  9. Very nice! Must sound great

That's nice, but I like the BNF5 more. Still, options are good.
