so i unloaded my BNF6 to another user from the board, the transaction went super fast, and flawlessly. This sale funded my purchase of a brand spankin new F bass.

    Specs are:

    Ash body
    figured maple centre block
    matching figured maple pickup covers
    28 fret
    lined fingerboard
    bubinga center block insert
    hipshot B style bridge

this thing is the punch machine. another truly beautiful bass to add to my F bass tone arsenal.

here are the pics, i wil follow up with more later...

and for good measure, here is her older brother...

    thanks for looking!

Awesome. My BNF5 will be ready around may. What was George's goal with the bubinga.

i think it adds a bit more growl. and the hipshot b style metal bridge helps with that aswell. warwicks growl alot, and mainly i thik they are made of bubinga. it may add a LITTLE compression aswell. but i can't really notice it. i just say this because i played a bubinga topped fretless f bass before and it was crazy compressed.

what kinda bnf5 did u order? i was upstairs in the final assembly room for awhile looking around and he's got some killer projects on the go.....

    i love living in hamilton.

Cool bass. What are the fretlines made of? They look shiny like abalone or pearl or something.

My girlfriend, is actually a HUGE F Bass freak because of the Ash/Maple Combos I have shown her from The Groove Shoppe gallery. I've been a fan for awhile, and I think you've got two beautiful pups there, Congrats on the newer one, you lucky dog you!

Say, anyone in the States catch the (H&R Block?) Tax commercial featuring a band jamming in the basement? [and writing off their gear, lol] Did you happen to see what the bass player was wearin' 'round his torso :D .

Congrats E! It's about time. For the record, you have a Hipshot "A" bridge. You got a beauty either way.

ahhh yes, it is an A bridge, B bridges are the ones he usually puts on the Bn5's etc.
