my first dog ever, we wanted a small dog and we both (me and my wife) love the pug. We just brought her home, we don't have a name yet.

    Here she is:

I knew it would be about a dog... I knew it.

Cute.... but those dogs aren't my thing. They just drool and snot all over you :p Same with boxers, bull dogs... uh... hell, anything with a short snout.

we try to get her used to her cage, she's been crying for over an hour now!

We live in an appartement building where we can't own a dog. So we are worried a little...but anyway we don't like the place, so if they trhow us out it will be alright :D

Anyone have a trick to get her use to the place faster?

And for the name we thought about melody, we don't kow yet. SOmething music related would be nice.

What a cutie!! I believe my next dog will be a pug. I'd get one now, but my dog would use the pug as a chew toy.

I don't think there is a quick way to get a dog used to a place. That will all depend on the dog. Give her a couple of days to a week or so. She'll get better with time.

    Name her Daisy rock!

  11. Meat flavored whiskey should do the trick. That or some brownies....

  12. Put something of yours like an old sweater or something in her cage so she can smell you. At night make sure she can see you in her cage. So prop it up on something and face it toward your bed. This will help her stop barking in her cage because she won't feel so alone. That's what I did with my lab but maybe pugs are different. I assume not. Just remember that it will suck really bad for awhile but then once they are house broken pets are so much easier to live with.

I have to disagree. To me Otis will always be my old beloved Rottie killed by a deer.

Cute puppy, just don't name it Otis.

Sorry the movie "Adventures of Milo and Otis" takes precedence over your sob story. :D

Funny enough, out of the two dogs in the litter, his brother's name was Milo (who woulda thunk?)
