    That Jazz.
    Man, that thing plays itself!!
It has old, and I mean OLD BArtolini's in it. First generation single coils that are 20+ years old. Right after they changed from Hi-A to Bart. Never heard a set that sounds anything like them before. And it's all passive.
BadAss bridge. All Jazz Basses should have a BadAss.
    HipShot D-Tuner.
3rd neck. First two with blocks/binding went all twisty on me. This neck has been stable for over 10 years now.
    And heavy. Like 11lbs heavy!!
I have never played a bass that sounds like that thing.
    I'll shoot a close-up pic tomorrow.

  14. One of the ensemble directors I used to take classes with had an A bass with a Hi-A precision pickup... it was the best sounding Precision I have ever heard in my entire life. I've since then have not heard a smoother, deeper sounding Precision.
