This bass is spotless and like I said it's basically brand new . I will consider reasonably offers also . This bass sounds killer but I just can't get used to 5 strings . Lack of effort I suppose , my loss is your gain!

No Problem . It's the lightest Fender 5 string I could find on the market at the time.

I was the same way you are now back about 8 years ago when I first tried to play a 5 string. Bought and sold 2 before I decided to give it a real go. Now, I can't go back to a 4 without really missing that low B string. You've got a great bass there. Before you take a big hit on selling it, you should give it another chance. I was 65 when I first tried the switch. Took a few months, but I finally got the hang of it and now I can't go back.

Two P5's on the same page tonight:bassist::bassist:.

I have the same model as the infamous Ed Friedland Bass Whisperer review and it was everything he said it was. The B on mine rocks - Fender completely nailed it.

I've been a jazz guy all my bass playing career and a 5-string player for the past two and a half decades. Finally bought an American Professional Precision V because "everyone should have a P." Well, our sound guy LOVES the sound of this bass more than even my boutiques that are 2 or 3x the price. And by the way, it plays great. It's passive so highly reliable. Every gigging /recording five string player needs one of these. I have no affiliation with the seller.

Thanks Derek for your insight, I've been a passive P bass player for a few years now moving from the jazzes and agree. The P just sits nicely in the mix every time. But unfortunately I can't do the five string thing , I thought Icould give it try and that is why I bought this bass. I'm just gonna stick with my 4s.
