This just came across my FaceBook feed from GK.
Wow! That looks pretty cool. Thank you for posting this. Looks like the EBS Microbass II may have some "Swiss Army Knife" competition, huh?
Color me intrigued.
It could almost replace my MXR M80 Bass DI+. My fear would be the boost would include a volume increase, and not a built-in distortion. Still, I like it a lot!
Edit: Just looked at the knob labels - maybe it would work after all, hmmm...
Is that an always on eq or what?? The foot switch is labelled compressor/tuner and boost
Do want. Hopefully they'll be shipping soon!
I'm interested in it too. I'm not one for pedals but I think I might like this one.
Could also replace my TU-3.
yes. awesome. been a bit of wishful GK thinking around these parts recently - which is now going to pay off!
That looks great, and lots of nice features. I'm more than covered on the di/preamp front...but that's a cool box.
zooming in shows all knobs have dual functions, one of which is "cabinet". This might pair nicely with my zoom B3 in the fx send/return. hmmmm...guessing at price: $200-250 ballpark? yes, interested.
+1. Looks like I'm going to be giving GK more of my money. I hope this thing is close to being ready, I hate getting excited about a product then finding out I won't see it for 8 months...
I'm totally set on preamps, but this could be the ultimate late night practice/back up preamp! It's got every feature I need to either sit in my bedroom next to the wife, while she's sleeping, and practice or toss it in the gig bag in case my main pre goes down for any reason...
What is a "symmetry" knob? And is it an oxymoron to turn it to anything but noon?
IF this super tempting piece of gear ends up being in that price range, I will squeal like a little girl(or a grown man who just found out that Justin Beiber, Miley Cyrus, and One Direction have vowed to never be seen in public again!)
that's one interesting piece of kit! subscribed.
This is a nifty looking piece with some great features. Really not trying to start a new controversy but the case reminds me of the Fishman Aura preamp.
of course a week after I get my Ampeg SCR-DI.
might end up with this too...
If I hadn't just got a 400RB I'd be all over this. Absolutely fantastic set of features, if the price is right I'll grab one for those DI gigs.
If it's less than $399 I'll eat it with a knife and fork.
