I just picked up this bass the other day: It was Pete Hanewinckel's personal bass for a while. He lent it to me a few years ago to record some of the Bach stuff at http://www.jsbach.net/bass/ . He told me he was going to sell it so I nabbed it. My new fretless 7 is still waiting for pickups. I'll post some pics of that when I get it. Also, here are a few new Hanewinckel pics: http://www.unpronounceable.com/images/hanewinckel/ - Dave
Wow, it looks like he is doing some awesome work. The sting spacing looks a little close for me but that is a metter of personal preference. What are all of the toggle switches for (other than active/passive and coil tap)? I really like all of his body styles. That shedua Gripen looks awesome. I really like the fusion body especially. -Chris
Thanks. That's an old scan from a photograph. Long before I bought it. I'm going to take some good digital pics this weekend and I'll post some links to those. - Dave
I took some shots this weekend but the exposure was a little tweaked because I tried out a different setting. I'll try again next week. Here's one though ... - Dave
