New Hipshot bridges

    Have you guys seen these ?
    Once again, Hipshot designers prove to be geniuses.
    Top or through-body loading, monorail style, barrel locking and ferules, all in a single unit.
    They plan piezos and MIDI converters soon.

    If that is what I am thinking that is, that is very cool! Do you buy 4 of those then, and install them seperately, unlike screwing on one whole bridge unit?

    No, it's the bridge for the ultimate Anti-ERB 1 string bass :D

    j/k, yes you are correct, you install as many of these as the bass requires, 4-5-7-9-11-28, whatever. Way cheaper than having custom bridges machined. Piezo and MIDI BUILT IN!?!?! Now THAT sounds COOL!!!

    if you use the top-load slot, you don't have to worry about the ferrule falling out as on some thru-stringers:cool:
