Just thought that I would update everyone... the house buying process is nightmarish (what a shock)! After about nine months of looking, a month of paperwork, another month of renting back to the original owners, and another month of putting all the crap where it should go, we finally have the house ready for the Xmas invasion by my in-laws... what joy :p !

here is a quick pic of the house... 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, 2 car garage, finished basement, killer vaulted ceilings in the living room, big fenced in backyard, nice suburban neighborhood in north Kansas City...

I can't believe how cool it is to own a house... That will make this christmas even better, first holiday in our first house.

Get your gear in there before a significant other decides to domesticate that space!
If you have no JAM AREA, you will be without a domain.
  11. Nice house!!! Enjoy it!!!

Oh, when's the TB house warming.........;)

not yet, but the neighbors were curious to see the cabinets being rolled in... It made something of a scene!
the wifey said it was alright... that may change once we have a rehearsal here!
north of the river, the Englewood exit off 169... It's right by Gladstone...
probably, but I have to get some more space issues worked out first, and I have to build another computer specifically for the recording...

One of the deals I made with my wife for this place is that she can do whatever she wants with the rest of the house, and I will even let her decorate in any way she wants, as long as she leaves me the basement... so I get the whole basement.

Thanks for all the kind words... I am terribly proud of this house. TB'ers are welcome at any time, just give me some advance warning that you are stopping by...
