I hope its a whole new range. Ibanez have been kicking out the same designs for too long. Bring back the Ergodynes i say.

I think BTB and SRX are the likely candidates, but a Prestige Artcore would be pretty cool.

I think a Prestige ATK or SRX would be cool. It'd be a more unique tone bass than the SR's (which in my opinion sound fine, but I like a bass with some unique tones Ex: Punchy, Growl, Super-Mids lol)

There are already Prestige BTB's available. So I'm thinking it would have to be something else. A Prestige ATK would be really cool though.

  7. A few years ago there was a lot of talk of Ibanez working on a high end single cut design. While I doubt the new Prestige model will be a SC, I hope it is.

Whew!!! Thanks for taking the pressure off senior. I thought I was the only person on here that didn't care for single cut basses. :)

  10. +1. Only Ibanez I ever owned was an EDB somthing or another (400 maybe?). It was my modulus' backup, but I ended up playing it almost as much. That made with high end electronics and some exotic woods at a sub 1500 dollar price would be a great bass.

Needs to be an SRX definitely. And I second that they need to bring back the Ergodynes.

    It's an SRX prestige.

  15. How about a Prestige version of the Ibanez RD bass.I'd love to see it with all kinds of pickup and wood combinations.

Not trying to cast doubt, but do you have a source for that info?

+1 on that, An SRX Prestige would be sick, hopefully they would improve the pups tho

  18. SRX are there since a long time, they "deserve" the prestige line.

    + 1 million.
Fair enough the luthite never took off but there's no denying those basses are comfier than sleeping on a cloud. They've got super fast necks too. One of those bad boys made as a prestige model would sell IMO. I've been playing my Edb600 for 6 years and i'll never get rid of it.

i like for them to bring back the roadgear series and make it a prestige, because with a little more work with that bass series would be killer. :)
