New Jeff Ament bass

    I saw them at ACL last night. Show was amazing, but that's besides the point. I know there's always some interest on the Ament custom basses. He had one last night I've not seen before. T bird body style. All checkered.

    These pics weren't from Austin, I got them from the PJ website.

    Well... Mike Lull is in Washington State. Jeff Ament is in Washington State. Lull just started building T-Bird copies. Ament now has a custom t-bird copy...

    That's all I got.:D

    That dude has always been the perfect line between flashy and tasteful. I think he is more my hero now than when I first watched him leapin' around on SNL oh so many years ago, about 6 months before I picked up the bass for the first time.

    Probably a Lull. The logic from above seems pretty sound, and the headstock looks pretty close as well. :smug:
