I finally took the plunge on a 55-94, rosewood neck, three tone sunburst, amazing quilt top! KILLER BASS! I love it... I am still in Nashville with it, and won't have pics up until Monday when I get back to KC... so pics will be forthcoming... I have only played it through my pod so far, no dissapointments yet!

    :D

Congrats! I got my 55-02 on Monday, and have been loving every minute of it. I know yours is a little better:) , but they are very similar basses. Hope you are having as much fun with yours as I am with mine.

p.s. Get the pictures up as soon as you can!

the quilt looks even better than the pic... I just got back to KC from Nashville, and can only play through my Ampeg combo tonight... but I should have practice tomorrow, and will be able to let it rip through the live rig... can't wait!

Wow!!! I love that family pic! You have some fine basses:cool: . Someday I'll be able to take a picture that looks that good, but not until I get at least a couple more Laklands!

If you need to, you can sell the rest of your basses, because the Lakland Deluxe will get all those sounds IMO. This will reduce your load by two double gig bags.

    Nice score.:)

    The symetry is weird!

    3 with white pickgaurds
    3 without

    3 with maple fingerboards
    3 without

    3 Fender
    3 Lakland

    3 5s
    3 4s

    the Fives are Lakland
    the Fours are Fender

    Lakands are Active
    Fenders are Passive

    3 are Jazz
    3 aren't

It's creepy. MAKE IT STOP! Guess it's a good thing I took the Spector from you, then, eh? Because that would throw the whole thing.
