New line 6 amps?!

    Anyone heard anything about these? The price looks nice but there is no info on a release date.

    As long as their better then the ones they made with Bugera. I know its guitar but i had to try them out. No matter how many tubes they stuck in there I couldn't drive them hard enough and it all sounded digital anyway.

    Yes Bugera=Behringer. Line-6 made their own Spyder tube series.

    So I guess y'all know about as much as I know. Anyone know about a release date?? In any case I'll be waiting for the subsequent Bass Player mag review. I would really love to connect these amps to different cabs to see how authentic I could get the different tones to sound. SVT cab (bergie 610) vs. modern 410 vs. a full range rig, like a pair of fitzmaurice 112's, that would be nice.

    I have a Lowdown Studio 110 -- 75 watts and a single 10. That thing kicks enough butt in a four-piece rock combo that my soundman asked me to turn it down. It might not be a Genz-Benz or an Ampeg, but it's a serious amp.
