I was surfing the Lovetone web site this weekend and I noticed that next to the Lovetone, it said "Please Ask" instead of sold out as it usually does.

I then emailed them at the address on their site and Vlad emailed me back. They are indeed selling Meatballs again in a limited quantity. I asked him to call me and he did and I placed my order immediately.

Not a cheap pedal but I had been kicking myself since I sold mine.

So, I thought I would just let you know that if you hurry, you can get your hands on a Meatball now.

Hope somebody finds this info valuable!

I wonder what people will be selling the old ones on ebay for now - $700?!

This is probably the hardest pedal in the world to dial in an awesome sound, but once you do - watch out...

Anybody want to share some of their settings?

Saw this post, and now I have a brand new Meatball!!

I spent about 4 hours twiddling last night and I think I've got it dialed in just about perfect. Holy Crap does it sound good!! It's so full and meaty sounding (thus...meatball?).

And, if I put my Deep Impact before it....WATCHOUT!

Thanks again. It'll be making it's stage debute tomorrow night. Woohoo. :hyper:

  8. :D that was funny, i only wish i could have thought of that first!

but seriously, 535 dollars!! i don't even have any gear worth $500! i am sorry to announce that i am skeptical that its worth 500 dollars, especially when all the other distortions go for 50-150 dollars. i want to hear some sound samples. prove me wrong, make a believer....however else you want to say it. i gotta hear a $500 pedal.

here's a link to the lovetone site, they've got some samples there.

    http://www.lovetone.com/index2.html

It's basically an envelope filter or follower though, not a distortion (maybe someone confused you?) Although they do make the Big Cheese which is a nasty distortion. None of their pedals are cheap (or small) by any means, but the quality is top notch. Long live Vlad!

I got mine brand new for $325. Hah!

Of course, I've had it for almost 3 years now. I'm in process of selling off my other Lovetone's on ebay right now, but the Meatball stays with me. (My ? Flanger is fetching $580 right now with two more days to go! Yeehah!)

Not all of them are true bypass, but that doesn't matter; they sound great on or off.

Curse you, Lovetone! I promised myself I wouldn't be buying any more pedals... Here they go, re-issuing them right around tax return time... It's a conspiracy, I tell you.

I bought all of mine new a few years ago before they quit. Every single one was fantastic. The best pedals I have ever seen.

Incidentally, 4 of them are on ebay right now. And making big bucks!! Heehee!

Nope... I just found that I wasn't using them, and it was getting scary bringing them to gigs. Besides, I got a G-Force!

    @basstriaxis,

...jeeeesshhhh, how "scary" are your gigs? From the sounds of it, you must also take a Hondo bass!

TC Elecs are cool...if Lovetone is 2nd fiddle to them(what you use in place of), I don't think the Lovetones are cracked up all they're to be?

    Ya made a killin'...
