    Dear Forum,
first of all I ask to Moderatores to give a look at this my post, because I would not talk about a sort of "spam-post". Do you know what I mean? I talk you about the objiect in the Thread, because just yesterday I've known about these "news". Sorry for English!

The italian maestro Giovanni LUCCHI in Cremona (North Italy)
has built with the brand Lucchi & Sons (or probably someone else but under his strict final controls) a NEW BOW IN CABON FIBER at the price of Euro 800,oo. Asap he will add the photos related to it on his website (if I remember ... http://www.lucchicremona.com ... check it, perhaps there's a mistake!). Now it's possible to admire only the ones for violins, viola and cello. But it's already avaible! It's interesting the fact that they seem like a "pernambucco" bows (avaible for French or Deutsche). It seems that they have a very good "taken" on the string, good balancement and a high quality in the frog. Maestro Lucchi thinks they are, at that price, the best choise for students at high level (advanced) but also for soloists. The sound travels through the air in a very speed way.

When the photos will be ready on the site, if you like, I will know all you. Really, I'm intention to buy it but also for my students. I would compare it with the "arcus sinfonia" (euro 1.600). I'm not very happy about the quality/price of Arcus Bow. But it's only my modest opinion! If Lucchi's carbon fiber bows work well, all my students, at that price, will use it, if they like, for their final examination (in Italy it's called "Diploma" and you reach it after seven years of study in a Conservatory of Music).

My best regards and let me know eventually what you think about it.

    Vito

He's certainly one of the best, so I look forward to seeing reviews. Do you know whether/how they will be distributed in the U.S.?

    No, I'm sorry, until now I don't
know ehere they will distribute outside Italy.
If I remember what you have asked me, I call
maestro Giovanni to know more about it.
Soloists and other very good doublebass players have had the chance to test them. The result seems it has been good, so maetro Lucchi has decided to create also these Lucchi and sons carbon bow fiber.
Probably, tomorrow I will able to tell you more.

    Regards

    Dear Cream,
I'm sorry but it's sure that this bow will not be in a "Black colour". In fact it's a very special bow. Maestro Lucchi has thought to creat a carbon fiber bow more pernambuco wood.
For these reasons the final testers have provided great acoustical results.

A carbon fiber with pernambuco! It's incredible.

One my mistake: in my state, Italy, the final price will be of 960.oo Euro, because there's a tax that in Italy private workers must pay.

Give a look at here: http://www.lucchicremona.com

    I will buy it, with a great probability. It's a "Lucchi's bow"!!

    Regards

As I've also specified in 2xbass,
    I have bought him!!

In the States or outside Italy it's possible to buy it through

Mr . Marco Coppiardi in Boston (web site http:// www.italiastrings.com).

I hope to have the chance to write a good review!!!
