hehe..I've just changed the pickups again. The new ones don't have the logo anymore and I've also modified the screw head routing.

  7. Sweet! The little touches that seem to draw it all together--like the dark veneer between the neck laminates and around the inlays echoing the dark binding, or the inlays matching the top wood--are the kind of thing that I love to see.

    I been everywhere, man...
    None. At all.
Those inlays are a great take on an established design. Excellent work!

Lovely stuff. I particularly like the inlays. Never seen that done before. BTW, what's the top wood, maple burl?

Thanks everyone for the great comments, The top and back wood is a Maple Cluster Burl and the inlays match ...

    Thanks again,

Wow, Im drooling over those inlays, how much extra, any idea how much something like that would cost to get custom done? The black binding on the inlays really brings them out!

  16. Good stuff!! I didn't know you were a member here. I meet you after the bela fleck show on 4/6 at the calvin theatre in northampton with your redwood burl 5 string fretless. I was the big guy in the red sweater who took one of your cards. I love in progress pics and i hope to see more of this bass as it is killer!

I usually prefer a neck as naked as possible, but those inlays look real cool! Nice work!
