Just scored this on e-bay! What a price!

I'll be using it to push my NV610. I think it'll sound killer. Anyone know a good amp tech in San Diego?

Nice! I had one a while back but never gave it the love it deserved (new tubes and a service) before selling it on. Paid a hundred or so more than that too!

I almost bid on that. Actually, I had asked the guy to sell it separately last year when he was selling it with the cab.

You got an excellent deal. Congrats on the purchase. :)

Holy crap. That's an awesome deal - I usually see those go for over $600.

One of those will be mine one day - I'm want one with the EQ option, though.

Yeah -- pretty stoked. I think it'll sound killer with my fretless 6! I like the lack of EQ. Simpler tone path, and I've got plenty of EQ on my bass. Less time futzing around with the amp -- that's why I sold my EA Iamp800.

Anyone know if the DI is any good on this thing?

    cool beans

the EQ is fun (esp. with a footswitch ;) )

btw...don't tell any g**tarist friends about it :ninja: .
Word is, they covet these things for the insanely
meaty crunch of plugging into ch 1, cascading into
    ch 2, etc.

I had one I ordered direct from MB when they first came out way back when. Foolishly I sold it in the early 90's in my quest for a more modern sound and deeper bottom. :crying: I had mine in a MB rack, and paired it with the 215 RoadReady cabinet. What a pain to haul up to the second floor ballroom!

p.s. yes, chaining channel 1 & 2 will produce an insane amount of overdirve
