This is a new bass as you can see from the plastic film. 2005 MIA P Deluxe 5 string w/ case and candy. I got a sweet deal on this and I'm gonna pass it on due to another bass purchase. Fast neck excellent tone, Ash body Pau Ferro board weighs 9lbs in Butterscotch with nice grain pattern showing through. Zero issues just a nice bass at a nice price!
Be of good cheer all, I have another Buterscotch Fender (4 String Jazz with EMG's ) at a smokin' price.... http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=338935 It makes a nice consolation price, in fact there are some who prefer it over the P
DARN YOU! Dude, you're gonna' LOVE this. Too bad for my bud... he has a MIA J (regular, passive) with this exact same finish, and he played my MIA D P 5 and REALLY GAS'd for it, so he now wants one... this woulda' been PERFECT. Let me know if you decide to move it on down the line!!!!
IotaNet, I have the same identical ADPV in butterscotch, and it kicks so much butt! You'll be very happy with it. One word of advice- shield the pickup cavities. That's my only gripe about this excellent bass!
+1 I've done this, and it's still fairly noisy in some of the nastier venues... no more than my MTD's, but definitely more than my Skjold. Currently trying to figure it out. Bongo, PM me with exactly what you did, and we'll compare notes.
