This is the answer to my "Wanted: 4-String graphite bass w/two pups" post. This bass won't get much play because I bought it primarily for situations that demand the stability of the graphite. (Then again, my son wants it as a replacement for his Steinberger XP2.) I once owned a passive Modulus VJ so I had a good idea of what I was getting. No surprises here except: - The active option sounds better than I hoped - The controls are vol/pan/bass/treb vs vol/vol/bass/treb. I'm happy.
Hey James, dibs if and when you decide to move that one! I've been looking to pick one up and that one is perfect.
I'll keep you in mind. I got a decent deal on it and it's like new. The previous owner had it, and the blue burst VJ, for about 30 days; he decided to go with Q5's instead. The "real" bass is due in tomorrow.
