Just received a notice from Mike T. that my 635 will ship out next week. This is my first 6 string and first MTD. Playing Lakland 55-94 Classic now. Take a look and let me know what you think and what to expect playability and sound wise. I think I'm in LOVE though. . . Bass has mahogany body with natural maple burl top, rosewood fingerdoard.

Is that a maple or wenge neck?

Nice bass. You also bought it from the right place too. Those guys at Bass Central make the enjoyable experience of buying a new bass blissful.
