    Hi All,

This is a new pickguard color that WD just released. I needed a new 'guard for my Sterling, so I took the plunge. It's a really cool material--very "deep" to look at, with a silver base layer and then several clear paisley "layers" that give a much more "3D" effect than I was expecting. Also, due to the layers, it's not your typical white/black/white on the edge--you really just see white.

I'm nuts about it. It may not be your thing--and that's cool, too. With a TB membership discount you can take you pick and still save an extra 10%!

Cool, cool, cool. Too bad I don't have a bass with a pickguard.

glad you can dig it! I was expecting some kind of two-tone deal, black on white. What it turns out to be is something line candy apple red where you have a bass coat of silver then all this thick clear coat over top. It's textured.

Wow, that's pretty cool. How much? Did they have one for a Jazz bass?

It was about 50 bucks from WD's website. You can get this material or any of their others in a Jazz shape---just pick the material then pick the pickguard shape. Really easy to do.
