Nice classic look. Is that a two tone burst or a three tone with very little red ? Has a close to tobacco burst kind of look. Very refined!

2003 model! Pre-S1 and Pre-sucky finishes. Also take note it is a 1 piece body.

Hey! THAT is cool. I thought it was a Sadowsky, till I realized it isn't, then I realized Fender also makes great Fender products :)

Oh I forgot, did you buy that in person or online?

I've been wanting to build my own P, but I keep debating on whether or not I should just buy one that is already made (if I got a Fender it would be an American) and they don't carry many american's around here.

  18. +1. That's a real beauty, a desert island bass if ever there was one!

Tim, are you asking me how much I bought it for or how much I would sell it for?

And yes, those are clouds. I'm always sure to polish my basses as best as possible when I post them.

I bought it at a local store. Originally I had ordered a chrome red/rosewood MIA Jazz, but it was on back order, so I just went in one morning, remembering seeing this particular one, and I bought it, in lieu of the Jazz.
