ofcourse there are a lot of options.. but here's a start.. i used the Hot for P-bass on my squier when i wanted to switch pickups. I had a problem with the holes being drilled in the wrong place though, for some reson the squier is a little different than the fenders that the pickups were made for, so you'll have to get out a drill and make some new holes.

  3. I put in an EMG P-Bass pickup w/ battery.
Works for me and NOISE FREE.

As you are in Scotland, I suggest looking into Kent Armstrong, that seem to have a low custom rate pipeline into England (on this I may be veery wrong).
MEC and Rough Crystal from LeFay will also be very cost effective, as would Lundgren of Sweden.

Cost effective=mucho bang for the buck
