New Rebuild Day!

Bought a Bacchus Universe Series Fretless 4 string a couple of years ago.

Had the fingerboard epoxy coated and installed a bone nut.

Had a set of top name pups and an onboard preamp installed as well.

looked great, but i never really took to it.

so i gutted and sold the electronics and it sat lifeless in my closet for 2 years.

2 weeks ago i decided to give it and a gutted Squier VM Strat another shot.

I sanded off the poly coats and lightly polished the finish.

some tweaks, new pups and electronics - new hardware.

i am really thrilled how it turned out.

 

surprize discovery with all this was the Fender 7250M nickel bass string set i bought for the fretless setup.

they were the cheapest my local GC had and i planned to replace them once the setup was complete.

I LOVE 'EM!

they stay!
