So this is my idea for new, more portable rig.

2 stacked 8ohm Avatar 2x10s (bottom one with casters)
    Ashdown Mag300H
maybe a DOD250 for some dirt.

I'm in a pretty loud band that goes from Sabbath to Primus to NoMeansNo to NOFX. I play a US G&L SB-2.

    ...think this will cut it??

if youre loud id say youll want at least 400 watts. more like 5-600 though. i ran 425 watts thru my goliath III and it was just loud enough with the master all the way up and the gain at 12 oclock. we play really hard rock.

    I highly doubt I'll hear a difference between 307w and 400w

Why two 2x10's? A 2x12 in there might be pretty pimp, and not too different in price.

The MAG has a pretty good output, I think its about 600w peak. I used mine to drive 2 1x15's or 1x15+2x10 for live situations and it was very effective.

a 2x12 would be sweet, but I can barely lift my 2x10 anymore and a 4x10 is out of the question. I've already got the 1 Avatar 2x10, so I just need to find another.

I'd go with the Ashdown ABM 500 Evo II, rather than the MAG 300. I think you'll need the extra power.

I've heard good things about the Avatar 210s, although I haven't played them (yet). I run an ABM 500 into an Aguilar GS212, and it's great. But since you already have one 210, why lay out the extra $? Plus, as you said, the weight on the 212, while not excessive, is still more than a 210.

    My $.02.
