New Rig! Redhead for Wayne!

    Woo hoo!

    I got a new(to me) SWR Redhead today:hyper: I was planning to get a decent tiny rig, something like Brad has would have been optimal. In fact I was GASsing so hard for the sound he described that I emailed the guy that made his cabs.

    But then I found out that a store only an hours drive away had a Redhead for $600.:cool:

    Notice I said they HAD a redhead:smug:

    Congratulations!!! Gotta love the "turbo" switch on the bass 'eh? does your redhead have the 1u rack space??? what are you gonna put there? RBI? Tuner? cable drawer?

    My wife asked about the empty spot too. I don't know what goes in there yet. But I'm loving the sound of this thing. I'm amazed again at how much sound a fairly low powered amp gets out of two tens. Next I'll need an extension cab. I played a Metro with a SWR Triad and it was gorgeous. But I think the Metro had more power. What is a good extension cab?

    You could always add a Goliath Jr, which should give you relatively the same sound as you're getting now. :)
