Yes, there is going to be a 24 fret 4 string bass but there is no ETA on that model. I also believe a 70's Style Ultra Vintage Jazz is in the works.

You should convince Roger to do Metros in P/J form so I can actually pay for one without dropping out of college and working full time :help:

Hasn't Roger made PJ5 for years?
I thought Rhodes had one as does Hugh McDonald and a few others.
  17. Thanks for the post, Nino.

That is a very sweet looking bass.

I assume it's alder. Is it lightweight chambered?

I am loving the Sadowsky 5 string flatwound SS set on my MTD P5. I bet they would sound great on the above.

I put a set of Sadowsky Flats on my NYC PJ/4 and it is rediculous-sweet coming through the WWU and Berg 112's. Just ordered another set. I've got some TI Flats that I haven't tried and probably won't now.
  19. Damn licking someones bass is just plain wrong. Makes me think of that "ass pennies" sketch.

  20. Looks like we could do a movie script called Bass Fiction:

Whoa... whoa... whoa... stop right there. lickn' a bass out, and givin' a bass a string massage ain't even the same pluckin' thing.

Vincent: Not the same thing, the same ballpark.

Jules: It ain't no pluckin' ballpark either. Now look, maybe your method of massage differs from mine, but touchin' his bass's strings, and stickin' your tongue in basses' holyiest of holies, ain't the same ballpark, it ain't the same league, it ain't even the same pluckin' sport. string massages don't mean slap.

Vincent: Have you ever given a string massage?

Jules: Don't be tellin' me about string massages - I'm the string pluckin' master.

Vincent: Given a lot of 'em?

Jules: Slap yeah. I got my technique down and everything, I don't be muting or nothin'.

Vincent: Would you give a guitar a bass massage?

    Jules: pluck you.

Vincent: You give them a lot?

    Jules: pluck you.

Vincent: You know, I'm getting kinda tired, I could use a bass massage.

Jules: Man, you best back off, I'm gittin' pissed.

    :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Better Watch out Nino if Vincent Marsalles ever buys a sadowsky and you play it :ninja:

BTW Great looking bass, I'd lick it!
