Those prices are a lot better than I was expecting. I was already tempted. Now... I just don't know what to do.

There's just something about anything with "Sadowsky" written on it. It's like... I'm drawn to it.

I agree, although I think those are actual prices - not list prices. To be confirmed though. Still - not too bad.

  4. I would say that is a pretty safe bet because both of them have minimum pricing policies...whatever the posted price is what you pay.

the seem like nothing special for such high prices. Now watch me get grilled for that.

Yeah, you probably got some grill'n com'n...

Hell hath no fury like the Sadowsky Nutz admonishing dissenting micreants with no direct product experience.

  7. I'm done trying...but I agree and I will say this, I don't know how you pass judgement or guess how something performs or what it sounds like without actually hearing it or trying it.....If I had made a decision to buy my NV610 off the specs and the +$1,000.00 price I would probably have missed out on one of the best vintage sounding cabs I have ever used ...:D

I would tell anyone...don't knock it until you try it!

    Peace,

    T

I'd like to A/B the 410 with the Berg HT322 both powered by the SA200.

Maybe I just expected something more flashy looking to come from Sadowsky.

+1 on what the others said about judging one before you try it. If you don't want one, that's fine. I'm sure Jim and Roger are OK with that. Personally, I don't buy a ton of botique gear. I can't afford it. I play a Lakland Skyline and a Musicman. I can't afford a Sadowsky bass although I'd love to have one. This cabinet, (and the other Bergantino cabs), are WELL WORTH the price. As far as flashy, what did you expect, purple tuck and roll sparkle?

Flashy looking? You were expecting blinky lights? Gold plated dust covers? :eyebrow:

  15. Maybe the limited edition one could look like that pimped out Silver Sparkle Bass that Roger made....I'd pay an extra $50 for that.....

    :help:

Well...If you compare Sadowsky's basses to Fender's basses they have the same design, but the Sadowsky's are aesthetically more attractive. I just thought they'd go the same rout in making their cabs.

I think Sadowsky cabs should come with dogs that shoot bees out of their mouths.

I still like my purple sparkle tuck and roll idea.
