What can I say!!!! I had to get one. The bass is a Sadowsky all the way!!!! I brought it to Theorem rehearsal on Tuesday & a recording session on Wednesday & if I didn't know any better, I'd think it was an NYC Sadowsky.

I have a gig tomorrow nite (any NYC area TBers, CLICK HERE & come on down!!!!!) & I'll be playing it thru my Fender Bassman 400 Combo & I'll have some pics on Sunday (or sat Nite ;))

    nice bass, congrats

if you can get one of these basses set-up and fret dressed by Roger himself, are there really any differences between these and the USA Sadowsky's?

i.e. - they are both CNC'ed basses..... do they have different electronics or different wood quality?

    Hi!

Pretty much the whole bass is the same as a NYC. The ash is generally heavier than an American Sadowsky and there are no options(fancy tops, black hardware, etc). I luv the one I'm getting. Feels like my NYC basses. Best of luck and get one soon. You won't regret it. G.A.S. will be cured except you'll want more Sadowsky's!!!!!!!!!

That's the sound of my PJ5's resale value dropping through the floor.

Oh well, why should I care? I'm NEVER going to sell it.

For some reason though...all the Roger approved clones...bothers me

  9. That bass is totally *drool* but the one thing thatalways bothered me about sadowskys was that te neck stopped in a straight line, and didnt round off like fenders, it just messes up the look slightly.

How much would one like that cost me? And when will they be available to the public? BTW VERY nice, if I'm free I'll drop by your gig, but I think I have a family gathering to go to. G'luck w/ the gig!

It's a little lighter than my T-Blue Vintage 4 but my Standard 4 is super light.

Hey Rob, I'll be in the Shop on Monday. See you then.

The show was OK, we had a pretty low draw because alot of my friends/family had (said they had) plans. :D

Overall, we played good & the overall sound of the club was really good.
