my buddy hooked me up with his schroeder 212 cab. i waa looking for a cab for shows that is light yet powerful. tested it today with darkglass mt500 and it sounded amazing. the bass is a squier bass i hot for $80 and had it repainted then put highway one electroncs in it plus an omega bridge. it is badass. got the cab for 5 bills and i think it was a badass deal. anyone have the same cab if do what does the knob in the back of the can do?
Pretty good deal! I suggest putting an HPF in your signal chain to protect the speakers, fight venue acoustics and keep the low end tight. Also, think about getting the cab much closer to ear level so all that tone and volume is not just going out at knee level. You'll be able to set better stage volume and not over power the venue and audience. Go FOH during sound check if you can. Good luck!
oh dude thanks for the advice. what HPF do you suggest? and sorry for not knowing but what does FOH mean?
