Oops! Sorry... :D What I wanted to say is that I'm very interested in these new strings I just saw on Conklin Guitars web. I would like to know if they are taperwound or core exposed.

  3. exposed core. they are the best strings I have ever played in over 20 years on bass!

I haven't used the signature series, but what came on my Rev5 had great huge fat grand piano tone, and cut thru the band brights as well. I dig 'em...

Great! That's precisely what I was looking for: cutting thru the mix... :bassist:
I've used LaBella Slappers Light Gauge, but I prefer thickier low strings. It seems a very good option after all!
