One week they're extremely over reactive. If you make a mistake with them, you're going to know it, and they just don't seem to want to shutup. Then for the next two weeks they're perfect. They're everything you could want. They feel good. Their voice is music to your ears. Then they just get depressed. All they do is whine and moan, but you can't understand a word they say. They stop taking care of their selves for whatever reason and as a result get kind of nasty, but not in a good way. You drive yourself insane trying to figure out what's wrong, and the more you try to fix things, the worse they get. Then the whole cycle repeats for another 4 weeks of enjoyment.

AND changing them often can get expensive.

AND I often find myself boiling them in hot water in attempts to restore them.

I find a good couple of hours of really pounding on them, a bit of dirt and a bit of sweat, not to mention a good stretch and they're just fine... then they get too dull.

Although I've always loved the g-string. That's a string I never get tired of plucking.

AND sometimes it's good to just let the drone on until they fade out.

And if you wind them up too much, they'll snap.

And one is not enough. You need at least four...

Do you happen to like strings made in Japan better than the ones made in the USA or Mexico? :p
