  1. Anyone know if that is Ken Smith or just someone who wants/likes/owns a Ken Smith Bass? I'm kinda curious, given a few of the threads i have seen going around in the past while.

Well, It says on his profile that his website is kensmithbasses.com, so I have a hunch it is him...

    :)

  3. Never mind, I checked his profile (duh).

Welcome to talkbass. If you read this. I will never own one of your basses (exchange rate is a beauty isn't it), but they sure are excellent. I only played one, in fact it is the only one I've ever seen. Beautiful in so many ways.

If it was him, wouldn't he have had Paul sign him up as a "professional?"

No. Roger Sadowsky is a supporting member and his doesn't say "professional" either. Only Talkbass pros like Mikes Watt and Dimin have the name "Pro" next to their names.

  9. actually, having some pro luthiers on board might not be a bad idea. fielding questions about woods, design, setup and such. of course, that might be a conflict of interest, but it would be neat. :D

Heym who knows, maybe we can convince Ken to bring Chuck Rainey on board as a TalkBass pro.

...Just thinkin' out loud... It would be really cool if he did... Maybe he could be reading this right now... feeling inspired to register, contacting Paul and offering to do it...:D

Hey, a guy can dream, can't he?
