OK, I just got an SM-500 for a STEAL ($599 on clearance at Guitar Center). I know I said I would never buy from them again, but hey...

Now I want to go out tomorrow and get a cabinet (or cabinets) I am guessing I can spend $750 or so. I am thinking about 2 GS 112s OR I could get a used Goliath II for $499. I want to try both setups side by side. Anybody know the difference between the Goliath II and IIIs? I've read good things about the IIIs, but nothing on the Goliath IIs. Thoughts? Any other suggestions?

I play mainly in church and also a rock cover band with loud drummer and guitar player. I don't want to struggle to be heard... :p

    I use a SM400-S with the Henry 8x8.
LOUD and Mo' Fo' Tone fer daze.

The 4 semi-parametric eq. dials the 8's in perfectly.
Great cab rating to power output match.
    (480 watt cab. - 500 watt amp)
