I'd suggest looking into a new peavey tnt 115. I have one and it has served me well ofr the last 2 years. I play at my church along with drums, keys, 2 guitars, and 2 vocals.

I also play in a rock band with 2 guitarists who have 120 watts 212's. It is a great amp, just a little on the heavy side.
  3. i will second the peavey tnt, i've had one for about 3 years now and it has never disappointed me.

Look into the Nemesis series from Eden. Eden makes good gear, and the Nemesis line is for people on a budget, like you. It will sound good for funk, for rock, and anything else you throw at it.
