Check out my latest find. A Tobias Growler, made in Nashville. Nothing special? This one looks to be practically unplayed, mint condition. It even has all the original paperwork and case candy! I'm not a wood expert but the fretboard looks like wenge? I'm excited! Is anyone familiar with the serial numbers on these as far as age goes? It is s/n: 8757.

There is a Growler club on TB. Ypu can find information there.
I own one myself. I love it. I very underrated/under appreciated bass for sure!

That's close to my serial number. Body is swamp ash, fingerboard is wenge, neck is maple with purpleheart center. Mine also still has all the original paperwork. Yours seems to have a high gloss finish, while all the one's I've encountered are matte. It's an awesome instrument!
