Wow! This is the first that I have heard of that behemoth! So, how does it sound?

    Tom.

  3. Your pulling my chain! there is no way you havent already owned something :p

It sounds good, not had a chance to AB it with my 410 yet, on its own it sounds punchier and fuller tho (to what i remember being the problems with my 410), and i have noticed when i was using my 215 with it aswell the 215 seemed a little bit louder, which i really didnt expect, im going to take the grill off and make sure all the speakers are doing thier thing, because in all honesty i expected it to be a little bit louder than it is, or possibly the dust build up on the grill is effecting it, either that or im going deaf :p

  13. Yay, lets move my house :D

Ive already figured out how to have a 12X 10", 2x 15" and 1x 12" 1030 watt rig on the go, maybe use that for the gig in a couple weeks

Hey mohawk, Great find on a very cool looking cab.

  16. Cheers dude, ive still not got any of the ampeg cabs yet! bet thosr 15's sound awsome tho!

Cheers :D , at first i was planning on getting a metal grill similar to whats on the peavey 410, but, seeing it in person, theres something about it, it had a vibe going on that im just lovin

  17. Is that yellow piping or has it turned yellow with age? What's the year on that thing? :smug:

  18. Its gold piping, i dont think its that old really, dont think marshall had been making the VBA400's for that long? Ill check in the morning

(did some quick looking, the VBA400 was released in 1998, so, anytime between then and now :p )

  19. I played through one at my local music store, with the matching tube head, killer cabinet that. Deep full lows but i felt it sounded a bit scooped, maybe its just me.

Congrats mowhawk, time to annoy the neighbours .... 4 houses down :bassist:

heheheh, nah man, those are just little 12's. The new SVT 12HE cabs. Its just the angle of the pic that makes them look big. And yes, they do sound awesome. Pretty sure they aint gonna keep up with your new beast though! :D :bassist:
