http://news.harmony-central.com/Newp/2006/Traben-Bass-Company-Bootzilla.html Well I guess its true. I wonder if it will look anything like his old star basses or just have the huge star bridge and hopefully its not the bass you see him holding in that picture.... Anyone know anything else? O and hopefully has a built in filter for that true bootsy sound.
I doubt that the bass in that website link is the same bass. Just a custom Traben he already has and not his signature but I could be wrong. This is why: That bass on the site has neither so I doubt its the signature model
No, you're wrong...look again. The bass that he is holding does have shooting stars on the fretboard and the bridge also has a similar design. The resolution of your monitor may not show the picture as is it. On my monitor it is as plain as day.
i can get over trabens look i think there soo ugly some guy tried selling me one at s local store and almost all they carried and i cant picture boosty playing anything but his star bass
Yeah I edited my post above to somewhat agree. I just really hope thats not it because when I think shooting star I think a bass more like this http://www.bassplayer.com/pop-up.asp?storycode=9438&seq=2&type=P
Yeah, Traben uses the word "bridge" to refer to the entire decorative metal plate across the front of the body. On the one he's holding, each of the pointy flame-job bits has a little star at the tip.
Here's his other signature bass by Washburn http://www.washburn.com/products/basses/spacebass.aspx I like it better
