Traded the Roscoe for a Zon Special :hyper: ...I don't think that's a very popular move in TB circles.
I pretty much followed the UPS guy from my classes home (unintentionally...or subconscienciously intentionally :D ).
So far, I'm really liking it. The tone is working for me. I was looking for more cut, and I think this will deliver it.
Unfortunately, the pictures I have are too big and I lack computer savviness.
I don't want to give too gushing a review at the moment since I haven't had it long, but so far so good.

    CONGRATS MAN!!!

sadowsky and zon are my fave!!!

haven't played a special, but from what i hear, it does have a special "cut" to it.

    some like, some don't.

    i never met a zon i didn't like.

can't wait for PICS AND CLIPS!

Good for you. Do your best to block out those Roscoe fans.

The battle within...I also like Roscoes...Not as much as Zons, but they have their place.
Fred, the Special has a bit more of the lower mids, but this one has a Polyfusion preamp (the right one, eh, JR ;) ) which adds a bit more of a hi-fi tone. I might eventually switch to the Bart pre, but for now...why mess with a good thing.
As for clips...eh...cough cough...When my self esteem needs a good kick in the groin :) (Eventually)
But...uh... hey, look over there...a pic

Specials a blazin', but I'm thinking you have me beat.
Sorry I couldn't go through you guys...I wasn't expecting someone to step up with a trade.
Something tells me that this would be the last bass in the arsenal. Got to have a Zon fretless eventually...

    Ouch !
But I figure if I'm getting a bass in this price range...might as well get all of it ;)
