Newbie question about Ohm ratings.

    Hey all,

    I am confused about the relationship of power amp wattage to speaker resistance. Further more what is a crossover? :confused:

    The power amp puts out less watts with 8ohm speakers because there is more resistance, right?

    Is there a good online resource that you guys can refer me to that will enlighten me on all of this?
