Newbie Question on Compressor Pedal Settings

    I have an Aguilar TLC compressor pedal. Hoping someone can provide a Compressor for Dummies type tutorial on what the four controls (Level, Threshold, Attack, and Slope) do for your sound and some example settings. I realize this is a Noob question, but I'm a former drummer, so hopefully y'all will understand......

    I don't have this compressor but have you looked up any YouTube vids?
    It gave me many options for my Empress Compressor I recently bought.
    Surely the Aguilar is more popular.

    Level is simply your output volume so we can get that one out-of-the-way :)

    Yeah, I probably should have just included the Threshold, Attack, and Slope. Even a drummer knows what the Level knob does!
