They're similar to a Chapman Stick, although in design they're more like a Warr guitar (ADG is actually a subsidiary of Warr).

I've wanted a touch-style instrument for a while now. I tried a Chapman Stick at xush's Bass Summit in August and didn't like it very well. These allow you to play vertically and horizontally. I'm excited!!!! :D

  4. Awesome, Mark!

Are you going to use it in your original music alot?

    I been everywhere, man...
    None. At all.
    Nice!

If you don't want to talk turkey I understand - what's the ballpark on those? Less than a Chapman Stick or a Warr?

    Quite a bit less actually..

$1300 less than a 10 string Warr (Artist series.. their most modest model) and $300 less that the Stick 10 string.

  10. Mark,

Have you listened to any of Ladny's mp3's off of the Warr site? He also has some on his own personal page. Here's one to listen to if you haven't heard him yet. Great player!

Cool!! I'm not much of a slap bass fan, but I loved his tone, and I really dug the harmonic stuff he was doing!
