Last week was a defining week for some teams.
It certainly was for the Bucs, beating the Saints with their 3rd string QB.

    This week:
    Buccaneers over Texans 24 - 10

Also the Boys over the Pack intrigued me.
    I see the CheeseTeam over the Ray-duz 21 - 17

The Cowpoke over the Kings of the Jungle 27 - 20

  3. Pittsburgh gets TRAMPLED by the friggin'; Patriots! :(

This weeks Cowboys and Lions game should not be too bad for my Boys. The Secondary got a little sloppy againt the Pack, but they should be able to handle the Lions receivers without too much problem. I think the Lions defense will be really worn down by the Jones and Barber tandem that by the 4th the game should be completely sealed.

    Dallas 35
    Lions 13

    and so it shall be

despite an injured shoulder, Brady will lead the Pats to a 12-0 record tonight when they deliver a blow to Baltimore in a prelude to kicking some Steeler butt on Sun

    Did you know?
The Patriots became only the fourth team since 1978 to clinch the division title by the 11th game of season ('85 Bears, '97 49ers, '04 Eagles)

    all the best,

There is a very real possibility that the Dolphins will indeed go 0-16. I believe the Jets were their last shot at a win. Coming up, the Bills @ Buffalo (maybe an outside chance here), the Ravens @ home (another maybe an outside chance), the Pats @ NE (wouldn't it be wild if this was the game NE loses??), and finally the Bengals at home ....

What happened to this team  Who are the Miami fans here, if any ??

I was feeling better about this upcoming game a few weeks back, but since the Steelers started teetering these last three weeks I've lost confidence. I don't think anyone is stopping the Pats, but I'd like to at least see a decent game here ..... NE 35, Pittsburgh 27

Giants go into Eagle land, always a rough outing. NY has a lot more to lose here than Philly ..... Giants 24, Eagles 20

The Jets might give the Browns a good game and sneak in a win here ..... Jets 20, Browns 17

  9. The Saints vs. Atlanta...who cares, the Saints stuck the fork in their season yesterday with an atrocious call...how do you go from "boy genius" to "village idiot" so quickly?

    Bolts and Titans...

The Chargers should win this one...if they come out playing like they did yesterday it's not even going to be a close game.

    sigh

Whether you like it or not, you bleed black and gold. Man up, Gard, the Saints are a good team.

  12. Good teams win games they SHOULD (St. Louis) and they win games that are close (the first game against Carolina, the game against the Bucs this past weekend).

The Saints are a horrifically INCONSISTENT team this year, they can be VERY GOOD (Jaguars), or they can be very bad (loss to St. Louis).

They need a lot of help on defense, particularly the pass coverage, and we need a bruiser backup RB to take Deuce's place when/if he goes out.

Yes, I bleed black and gold, I always will, the fact that my team is suckin' wind won't change it. However, I must face up to the fact that this season will be a HUGE let down after the promise of last season.

Welcome to the Bucs last season! NFL Seasons change like the weather.. probably faster and more unexpectedly than any other sport. Judging the Bucs from last season, we should have 3 wins by now, and for the Saints, already would have clinched a playoff berth.

We've been here before...everyone get in the time machine, we're stopping at 2004. Big Bens rookie season when the Pats show up at Heinz winners of 18 straight regular season games. Also the same year the Sox won the WS. Final score...Pittsburgh 34, New England 20 on that day.

It's over Pat's fans. You guys will go 15-1 this season.

Nope. The roll continues this week. Pittsburgh isn't playing the same kind of smash-mouth football they did under Cowher. 13-0 this week.

I think the "Pats are playing in a different league" line can officially be retired.

These last two outside games didn't go too well for them. Maybe they can put a dome on Gillette in time. :D

  17. Neither team is playing well right now.

...Patriots are playing better, however.

I was going to pick at this, but I have a feeling Mike will probably do a better job than I would.

Hehehe, you know me too well. :D

There's a lot to pick apart in that sentence for sure. But I'll respect the fact that Pacman has probably watched zero Steeler games this season from start to finish.

With the second leading RB in the NFL, and the #1 ranked defense in the NFL, I think we're smashing people in the mouth just fine this year.
