Pack/Cowboys Panthers/Seattle Colts/Broncos Ravens/Patriots I went 2-2 last week. Picking Pack, Seattle, Broncos, Patriots
I'd like to see the Broncos and Cowboys win. The Carolina and Seattle defenses will be a treat to watch. New England should be able to handle Baltimore, but watch out for Flacco and Suggs. I'm not sure though that I will watch any of those games. -Mike
yesterday's Dallas game epitomized why i've cut waaay back on my NFL fanaticism! i watched with great anticipation until the REFS took over and affected yet another outcome to a very important game! this game is tooo easy to manipulate by personal that need closer scrutiny, IMHO. flags are thrown and some day coaches will be able to throw a Red Flag at the REFS i pray!!!! ps: i still love the bunch on NFL NETWORK, though! (those dudes are funny at least)
That was a weird call, but I don't know if it really was pass interference or not. What I did see was the runner facemasked the tackler just before the (maybe) interference. The issue in the playoffs is some knucklehead thought it would be a good idea to break up the seasonal officials teams and randomly assign members to a game. The problem is these guys haven't worked together before, so the understanding and trust are not there like they would for a team who has been working together for a season.
I watched maybe half the Dallas game. Watched a little less than half of the Pittsburgh game too. I caught the tail end (last quarter) of the Colts game, too. I got 50% of my picks last week, which, for someone who logged maybe 6 hours total NFL this year, I consider decent This week... no idea. Going to randomly pick again. Pack/Cowboys - Packers hosting this? I can't see Romo and crew pulling a win out there. However, I'm going to "pull for" the underdog and upset, and say the Cowboys come out on top. Panthers/Seattle - The Seattle fans I have to interact with daily ruin this team for me. I'm pulling for the Carolina, but I'm betting Seattle comes out on top. Colts/Broncos - Toss up for me... I don't know either team other than what I saw of the Colts this past weekend. I'd pull for the Colts though, as I've visited Indy a few times and enjoyed my time there. Yup, that's how I pick 'em Ravens/Patriots - Never have been much of a fan of the Browns... Ravens. This might be a left over from when I seriously followed the NFL and the Steelers were "my team". It might also be because I just don't like Baltimore (city), or the team as a group of individuals. But, I'll thrown down and say I expect the Pats to win.
I think the Panthers are a trap game for Seattle. It's not going to be easy for them at all, but they will pull it out by some small margin. That's the history between these two teams, and I don't expect it to change. Packers/Cowboys will be in Green Bay. What's the forecast? Below freezing, the Pack win. Above freezing, it's a tossup. Colts/Broncos will be Andrew Luck outplaying Peyton Manning. I think Manning has just about reached his expiration date, and maybe this is it. Patriots/Ravens is a game I would be happy if both lost. I don't like Tom Brady a bit, and I grew up as a Browns fan, so I can't ever root for the Ravens. The Ravens have a history of knocking off higher seeds, so it wouldn't surprise me at all to see them in the Super Bowl. You read it here first.
The Ravens like playing the Pats in the playoffs. I'd rather both teams lost too, but I HATE the Pats, so I'm rooting for the Ravens. I don't see the Cowboys beating Green Bay in Green Bay. Stranger things have happened, but I just don't see it. Seattle at home over the Panthers. I think our defense will crush Cam. I don't see it being all that close. I don't really care about the Colts/Broncos.
Pack/Cowboys - Cowboys Panthers/Seattle - Seattle Colts/Broncos - Colts Ravens/Patriots - Patriots That is the way it will go down. Trust me on this. I have no experience as a sportscaster and I only watch Dallas games, so I know what I'm talking about.
Forecast for Sunday in Green Bay is sunny and 21. No where near the icebowl temps.I am going with the Pack. Dallas D won't stop the Packer O. Green Bay Packers 31 Dallas Cowboys 20
I would love to see T-Sizzle lose this weekend in Foxboro. I respect Joe Flacco and the team, just think Suggs runs his mouth too much. I think Indy has a chance to knock off Manning and the Broncos. If Aaron Rogers has the calf injury and things go well for the Boys, Dallas has a chance to win (especially if the refs give them the game again), but I don't think that will happen. Seattle should roll. Pats Indy Green Bay Seattle
Denver should beat Indy. but I was wrong about Indy once already this post-season and Peyton is showing his age big time in the stretch... I'll go with Denver though. NE should be the favorite but Flacco and the Ravens have been a tougher out in the playoffs in recent years. NE is vulnerable, I'm taking Baltimore. Seattle will beat Carolina. I hope Carolina puts a few miles on that defense though and they aren't quite 100% for the NFC Championship against... Green Bay. All over the Cowboys.
Peyton's stats this season are pretty close his 2012 stats. It's just that his 2013 stats were phenomenal and Denver had more running talent. http://www.nfl.com/player/peytonmanning/2501863/careerstats But still, I don't think the Broncs will make it past Brady in Foxboro.
What do you guys think of all this John Harbaugh talk that Flacco is the the best QB in football? Do you think his postseason stats offset his average regular season numbers?
