I'll fill in for MPG and start this weeks thread. He still has to post the Packers Palace link though. :)

I'm knee deep in NHL and college football, so I mostly let the NFL slide this season. Hopefully you guys got some better insight into the weekend games.

My only thoughts are.....CAR/TB Thursday night? Yawn. I hope KC finds a way to knock off Cleveland to stay unbeaten. NYJ/CIN may end up being a good game.

Packers at Viqueens Sunday night in the smelly dome.

Even with a jillion starters lost to injury, Green Bay will beat the purple Barneys, 33-16. Double Check always plays well indoors.

I thought Minn would be really good this year. Boy was I fooled.

SF @ the Florida Kittens. This is as close to a trap as you can get, but the Niners should win this one big. 31-7

Oakland vs. Pitt. The steelers have won 2 in a row. Oakland is coming off a bye week. It's in Oakland. It's hard to call this one. I think Oakland may pull this one off, but it will be close and fairly boring 17-14.

Seattle @ The Lambs. No Starting QB in St. Louis. I expect beastmode to be in full effect. This won't be pretty. 28-3

Watch out for Jared Allen's arm. It can tobble QB's and Offensive Linemen at the same time!

  5. Um...Denver will have a challenge on their hands with Washington Sunday.

That's my new lead in for every Broncos game for the rest of the season. :D

Kidding aside, it will be nice to have Shanny back at Mile High.

Just me or did someone overlook final gloss coats on the Vikes helmets? They look unfinished, imo.

  8. I believe the term is "matte."

The Dolphins' nice, shiny 3-0 start is long gone. They've lost three straight (including at home to the Bills with a QB I've never heard of :rollno:) and now they go to New England. *sigh*

Pats / Dolphins.....hmmm, ......................hard to say.

Let's see who the Refs think should win and go with that pick!

If y'all didn't get caught cheating against the Jets, you would have won that game.

LOL, c'mon now. The rule is admittedly odd, but they did violate it. And it STILL makes far more sense than the tuck rule.:D

Next up for the Browns at QB? Jason Campbell. I know Garcia asked for a tryout. Maybe I can get a shot too.

  15. Maybe the Pats coaches, who seemed familiar with the rule and the breech, should have alerted the refs ;)

    It worked for the Jets.
