    What's the big deal? Looks like a nice copy of my first real bass, a Western Auto Tele bass.
     
  7. What do those things sound like anyway?

    I don't think I've ever heard one. Are they a nice thick P tone or do they somehow actually get at the spank of a tele?! Although I can't imagine anything too snappy with that pickup position

    Verdine White had one identical to this early on with EWF. Had a sound similar to a P.
