Ok, I've posted about this before but I'm going to order a new bag this week. I'm looking for a good double gig bag that fits 35" scale basses easily (my undercover bag is too tight...). I'd like it to be nice, ideally leather...and not $500.

    Any recomendations?

I love the InCase bags. They make a wonderful double bag....

    I THINK the url is
    goincase.com

I might be wrong, you can google it.

The Low End bass shop sells leather double bags for less than 300.00
They are top quality. Give them a look!

I have a Mooradian, it's not leather but it's pretty nice and under $200.

strength, weather resistance... aesthetics as well.

  11. Agreed.. The Ibanez double bag is great for the $$. It also has wheels (always a nice feature for us lazy bastards) :)

  12. I'd plug The Low End...because they seem to bring awesome to everything. If the price is too stiff, Ritter makes some nice bags. They're not associated with Ritter basses. I picked up 2 of 'em a few years back before I knew anything about Low End gear.

Low End leather is beautiful. I find its a bit heavy but the black leather/no buckles version I have is probably the most elegant way to tote your basses.

I also have a Reunion nylon double that will actually accomodate the depth of Rob Allen's Deep 5. I think i got it from the BassExchange. Big huge thing.

I emailed Brian regarding a Low End bag last week, and he is apparently heavily back ordered.

....well here is my expirience with Ibanez Trolley gig bag. First bag had bad zipper, so I send it back a new one had same problem...no more Ibanez Trolley for me...I'm waiting for custom made gig bag

  19. I have a LowEnd Double Gigbag as well. Great bag, solid construction. I have enough confidence in the construction to carry my '77 Jazz bass in it. I got mine for $250.00 cash and picked it up from Brian's shop. Mine is black with the saddle bag (2 straps with chrome buckles). At gigs I always have someone ask me where I got it.
